Environmental Milestones

Verderia has officially started making donations since August 2024, marking the beginning of our environmental impact journey.

Below are the milestones we’ve achieved so far:

September 2024

A donation was made to Lokahi Athletics, a non-profit organization in Hawaii, to support their long-term Wildfire Recovery through Youth Sports Program. This initiative helps reserve county sports facilities for the West Maui community following the tragic fires of 2023.

September 2024

Part of our donation was made to support the Treerecovery Hawaii project, which was founded following the 2023 Maui Wildfires. Verderia supports their ongoing efforts to care for existing trees that survived the wildfires, grow and continue planting trees for future generations of Hawaii. One of the major goals for Treerecovery project was to plant and oversee the growth of 30,000 new trees, at no cost to the Lahaina and Kula community.  The video was filmed for a group of local teenage volunteers helping to plant new trees for free to residents of Lahaina.

November 2024

A donation was made to Zanzibar National Teacher Training Program in Tanzania to empower local natural science and environmental education.

March 2025

A donation was made to PixCams to support their Solar-Powered 4K Camera Monitoring Network for wildlife and watershed protection. This initiative aims to monitor the impact of abandoned mining activities and wildfires on regional watersheds and wildlife. The Solar-Power 4K Camera Monitoring Network is specially designed to create a sustainable impact by providing real-time surveillance of critical environmental zones.

April 2025

April is designated as Earth Month – a period dedicated to raising awareness and taking action to protect our planet.

Verderia was excited about the opportunity to partner with Carbon Council Student Organization at Arizona State University in support of the ASU Earth Day Amplified on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the ASU Student Pavilion. This student-led initiative event brought the community together to honor our planet through music, exhibits, guest speakers and tabling. Our contribution would directly cover food, beverages and hospitality for ASU students, faculty, and community members, creating a welcoming, energizing space for climate engagement and collective action. The Earth Day Amplified was part of a larger mission to make sustainability visible and accessible at Arizona State University. Our partnership played a vital role in bringing that vision to life.

September 2025

Verderia becomes a sponsor of Natural Restorations and helps support their mission to remove trash and graffiti and anything foreign to the environment from outdoor recreation and wilderness areas across Arizona. They revitalize natural areas through replanting work, including their replanting of the Bush Fire Burn Scar on the Tonto National Forest, and hosting volunteer events to engage community members in stewardship activities like trash cleanups and tree sapling planting.

September 2025

Verderia becomes a sponsor of Honghaier Children’s Advocacy Group and supports their environmental education group games and activities for kids aged 1 to 12. In September, Honghaier organized indoor and outdoor activities including Bounce House, Pumpkin Patch at ABC Tree Farm and Moon Festival celebration. Our support directly helped them pay for tickets and provide food, beverages and hospitality for kids, parents and community members, and create a welcoming and energizing space for fun and engagement.

While these milestones mark our beginning, they’re just the first steps in our ongoing commitment to environmental restoration and education.
